Grooming The Car For Your Wedding

By Stuart Aaron

Wedding Ceremonies are as beautiful and romantic as they are very pricey. Let us not debate that fact. Everything reeks of a dollar sign from the time leading to the big day when the boy proposes to the girl with an engagement ring to the honeymoon break. But as dismaying as any dollar sign looks on your bill, you can always cut unnecessary costs.

Cutting cost shouldn't be distressing. Your dream wedding is still feasible even with a reduced budget. Reducing cost may mean having roses or carnation instead of the easily-wilt tulips. Or, you can look for bargain shops that can give you a discount if you really like that sort. Souvenirs may be hand-crafted, dresses may be sewn or rented, catering may be home-cooked, and organizers and music may be friend volunteers. Nearly everything can be bought cheaper.

But there are still some things that stay costly even if there are comparatively cheaper already. Wedding cars cost from a few hundred dollars to over a thousand just to lease for a few hours. Even the relatively cheaper car rental services still cost hundreds of dollars.

So why not utilize your own old yet functional vehicle instead? Turn something old into vintage. The difference is old is outdated, but vintage is retro. Retro is so in right now, people are actually going for it. So even if you have a decades-old auto, you can save a lot of money by turning it into a vintage wedding car.

You can do this by grooming your ride. What's actually good about this is that not only will you save hundreds of dollars in rental, you get to restore your ride's beauty also. This lasts for more than a few paltry hours too. You need to groom your car on a regular basis anyway, so why not just use it for your wedding day?

Vintage is regarded as fashionable and chic nowadays. You don't need to trouble yourself even if your car doesn't scream expensive. Even your old Volks will do if it is still functioning. Color isn't an issue anymore too. It is true that white was the only way to go before, but nowadays, any other hue available will do so don't concern yourself about swapping car paint colors.

But of course, don't overlook the "necessary" decorations. Add the "Just Married" streamer and the flowers on the hood and you're good to go.
