This trend towards realism began with shows like Survivor, which wound up really killing fictional shows in the ratings. See, sitcoms and dramas became incredibly formulaic and predictable. She runs a bakery, and refuses to sell to any customers who don't promise to work out to burn off the fat they get from her excellent brownies, cakes and cupcakes.

When you watch the show, you have two big plot threads to root on: First of all, she has to keep her family in order and make sure her children are safe and happy, and secondly, she wants to keep building her weed empire to eventually become the primary provider of primo stuff in her sprawling suburban community.

Be warned, it's addictive. Like Lost or The Sopranos, you can't just watch one or two episodes. The most common reason an astral projection attempt fails, in fact, is because the candidate does not maintain his or who focus through the relaxation phase of the process, and thus, simply falls asleep.

To start getting into the necessary relaxed state you should prepare by dressing in loose clothing. Sit is a place where you won't be distracted or disturbed. You should avoid laying down as a beginner since it is too easy to become too relaxed in that position and fall asleep.

Once seated comfortably, imagine that tension is a fabric bandage that has been wrapped over every inch of the body -- much like a mummy - that tightly constricts even the smallest of toes. Next, imagine those small toes being unwrapped. Warm blood flow returns, as does the feeling of cool air to the skin's surface. Imagine the same process for each individual toe until all ten toes have been "freed."

Now the balls of your feet through the arches and heels, up to the ankles are unwrapping. Keep moving up the body, unwrapping each body part until you everything is free up to the top of your head.

Once this phase is completed, an individual is ready to execute one of the various methods of astral projection explained below.

One of the main astral projection methods is called the rope method. This requires a little preparation before you start the relaxation phase. Tack a rope above you so it is within reach. It will help with the mental visualization as you can reach up and touch it as needed.

Once this is accomplished, an individual will have an easier time "finding" the rope with his or her astral fingertips, which will float through the physical skin in pursuit of the rope once an individual is sufficiently relaxed. This process of finding the rope may be difficult at first, but with time and patience it will happen. Stay focused.

After finding the rope, concentrate on pulling the astral self up and out of the physical body as if climbing up the length of rope. Imagine the process without regard for weight, as the astral body is weightless and can climb effortlessly. A sense of dizziness may occur at this point, but it's important to ignore this feeling, otherwise one may jeopardize the projection attempt.

Continue "climbing" the rope until liberated from the physical body, all the while ignoring any sensations of vertigo, nausea, humming, warming, heaviness and/or tingling that may accompany the process. Any and all of these sensations are normal to a successful astral projection experience.

Variations of the rope method include the lift method, in which one visualizes him or herself pulling upward from the physical body and hovering above it; the roll out method, in which an individual envisions him or herself rolling to either side of the physical body (works best when lying down), as well as the fixed and moving anchor method.

In the fixed method you would visualize an object that you are pulling your astral self towards. In the anchor method you feel as if that object is pulling you towards it. The act of pulling towards or being pulled towards removes the astral body from the physical body. When your body is free it is time to explore.

Astral projection methods take time to master. You will need to practice and learn the process. It is important to keep a positive attitude as you work. Your first attempts may not be successful, but you should keep trying. Unsuccessful attempts can be due to many different things like distractions, not being relaxed enough or not being in control of your mind or body.

It really helps for you to be very dedicated to astral projection. With dedication you will notice problems easier, master your astral projection methods and be able to really go beyond your physical body and explore the universe.

Some other things that require a trust in a sense to believe in are widely accepted, such as animal instincts.
