How True Is The Axiom That Money Makes More Money?

By Erica Moore

It is claimed by many that you will need money if you want to have more money. The fact is that statement is often used by those who have no money to justify their inability to earn money.

Assuming that having money really makes it easier and faster to make more money, it is also a fact that you can make more money by other way and means. Just look around you and you will see people who got rich after having been bankrupt, or were broke, or rose from poverty. Did you imagine that they had the money? They may not have more than a few dollars in their pockets.

So how do you suppose to make money if you don't have any?

It is imperative that you must possess knowledge and action. The really easy part is gaining knowledge. The local library can provide references on the various means of starting your own business. There are many books in the local library that deals with the various aspect of business such as effective selling that can help you in whatever business endeavor you are in.

The second part is more complicated. After you have learned the various means of making money, then it is time for you to put it into reality. I disagree on one thing with the book, Think and Grow Rich. Although the book is an excellent reading material, it does not tell you that making money and getting rich do require action, but that is its one and only defect. You can think about it all the time, but achieving your hopes and ambition is not going to happen unless you take concrete steps.

The internet has made a lot of noise about making money without having money, but there are lazy people who think, or expect, to earn fast and easy money by just setting up a website or representing a product.

The internet offers guides and directions on the effective use advertisements, but you still need to go to the library and learn more about secrets of successful selling.

The bottom line is that you can make money even when you do not have any.
