Your Wedding Can Be A One Of A Kind Event With Just A Few Unique Touches

By Connor Sullivan

If you are in the midst of planning your big day, you may be feeling overwhelmed with all of your options. There are numerous standard choices for your wedding, not to mention hundreds of little touches you can add to make things truly unique. If you are looking for ways to make your day one of a kind, you should focus on a few aspects which you can use to create drama, and then keep your budget in check by allowing other things to be more standard or less dramatic. They can still be charming and unique, but not everything has to have the same impact as those few touches that will stand out for everyone to remember. Consider how you can add pizzazz to your entrance to and from the ceremony an exciting event. Take a floatplane charter as you enter the ceremony and board a floatplane to Tofino with your new spouse. This is dramatic and makes a big impact before or after your vows.

Other options for entering your ceremony in dramatic fashion include a horsedrawn carriage, horseback, or by way of military vehicle. Two of them are romantic and glamorous, and the other is fun and unexpected. You can also exit your ceremony in a number of dramatic ways including boat, if you are marrying near the water, a bicycle built for two people, or by way of hayride if you are marrying in a rustic, farm location. Each of these options is fun and can be suited to your particular venue.

Another dramatic addition to a wedding is to create a ceremony that is similar to a performance. Instead of quietly exchanging your vows, do so in a dramatic, Hollywood-like fashion. Include stage lighting, sound systems, music, and make it more like a performance than just a normal ceremony.

If you would prefer to add drama to your reception, you have a ton of choices. You can have performers entertain guests either before or after they dine. Imagine the fun kids and adults would have watching a magician or belly dancer while awaiting the exciting arrival of the bride and groom. Other performance options, include celebrity impersonators, singer-songwriters that create a special song just for your event, or a dramatic reading of a romantic piece of literature or poetry. Some brides prefer to keep the attention on themselves during their wedding reception, but others love the idea of keeping guests entertained while they are busy with other things. If you and your sweetie will be taking photos following the ceremony, these entertainers help get the party going before you arrive.

If you are in the midst of planning your dream wedding, you may think as if your options are limitless. To get a grip on things, decide where you would like to add drama and be willing to splurge on just a few aspects of the big day.
