Choosing Great Paid Android Applications

By Jesse Smith

There are so many wonderful free Android apps; why would you choose to purchase an app? There are plenty of reasons to choose a paid app instead of a free app. The main reason is that the paid Android applications are usually more extensive than the free apps. Many of the free applications are simply trial versions of paid applications. Figuring out which are the top paid Android applications can be challenging. There are so many that you need to sort through! How do you know which applications are the best buys for your money? Keep reading to figure out which paid apps are most worth the money.

Wave Secure is a very affordable paid Android app that you can buy for twenty bucks a year. This paid application is all about security. If you lose the phone or someone steals it, the app will lock the phone and then use the GPS system to help you track it down. It even sends out text help and alerts to you if the thief tries to put in his or her own SIM card. It will back up your data too. You can even use this app to totally wipe the phone through remote contact if you can't find the phone and want to ensure that a thief isn't able to use it.

SMS Control is only two dollars and is great to have installed if you have trouble finding your phone. SMS Control helps you send commands to the phone through a text message which helps you find the phone. SMS Control allows you to do everything from raising your ringer volume to locking the phone. The application also sends you the location of your phone on a map and helps you forward your texts and calls to your back up phone until you locate the phone you want to use. This app is great for people who are in the habit of setting down their phones and later forgetting where the phone has been set.

PhonePlus Callback is not a "must have" but it is certainly a top paid Android application for people who are afraid of appearing rude when they need to refuse phone calls. This application costs almost three dollars, so it won't break your piggy bank to install it. The basic idea here is that the application sends text messages of apology to each phone number that you refuse to answer. This way if you are unable to answer your phone, you don't have to worry about the caller thinking you rude. The app also allows you to send an e-mail if the phone number does not represent a cellular phone.

These are just three of the top paid Android applications on the market. If you have an Android phone you have so many apps to choose from that the choice can feel overwhelming. You want to download things that are interesting and entertaining. You do not want to waste your money. Thankfully most paid apps have free trials so you can test them out for a while before buying them. Even with the free trial, we stand by all of the applications listed in this article.
